Antique Victorian Natural Diamond Snake Ring in 10K Yellow Gold, Circa 1900

The Victorians were obsessed with snake jewelry. It symbolized eternal love. Queen Victoria herself wore one. This circa-1900 original features a serpent design in 10K yellow gold set with three Old Mine cut natural diamonds totaling 0.30 carats.

Old Mine cuts are the great-grandparent of today's round brilliant. They have a cushion-like shape, high crowns, and big, chunky facets that throw fire in warm candlelight. You cannot buy this kind of character new.

Weighs 2.0 grams. Currently a size 6.5, can be adjusted to fit.

How do I find the right size ?

The most accurate way is to have your finger measured in person at a jewelry store. If you're ordering online, you can use a ring you already wear on that finger as a reference. Place it on a printed ring size chart or bring it to any local jeweler to have it measured. If you're between sizes, go with the larger one. If the fit isn't right, we offer sizing services at our East Lansing location.
How long until I have my jewelry?

In-stock items ship within 24 to 48 hours, fully insured. If your piece needs sizing, allow an additional 2 to 3 business days before shipment. Custom and special orders typically ship within one week. All timeframes are before transit.
